March 20, Saturday - Concordia Masonic Lodge # 249 is having a spaghetti feed at 3219 N. Argonne, Millwood, WA between 4:00pm - 8:00pm. April 1, Thursday - Temple Lodge # 42 Past Masters Night, Stated meeting at 7:30 pm and dinner at 6:30 pm.
April 17, Saturday - Temple Lodge # 42 is having our Spring Highway clean up in Cheney, WA. Meet at the lodge for breakfast at 8:00 am. We need volunteers, the more that show up the easier the work will be on all.
April 24, Saturday - Guild School Penny Drive at Temple Lodge # 42 in Cheney, WA between 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. We need help from all brethern to make this a success for our local kids. Please bring your pennies and/or time to volunteer.
May 6, Thursday - Temple Lodge # 42 Stated Meeting at 7:30 pm and dinner at 6:30 pm.
May 14 - 15, Friday and Saturday - We are starting our "Cheney Masonic Family" Relay for Life team. This is the eighth year for the relay and the 7th year we have participated. It will take place on May 14th & 15th; 6pm to 9am at EWU's Woodward Stadium. The theme this year is "Movies in the Making". Again, this year with WB Rob Steiner at the helm, our team will be in charge of the luminaries. This includes selling, putting sand in bags, setting them out,lighting them and picking them up. Those who have done it in previous years, know how much work it entails.
To sign up go to www.relayforlife.org/cheneywa and click on "Join a Team" button. Then find Cheney Masonic Family and follow the directions. You only need to answer the questions that are starred.
This year the registration fee is $25 (lodge pays). To get a T-shirt you need to signup before April 2, to let them know your size, and the price is $5.
We should have quilt tickets for sale at our next stated meeting. They will be $1 a piece. There are 3 quilts being raffled. A quilt will be on display. ( Be sure to bring cash).
